For one counter service meal per day. Two disney adults and a seven year old?

I want to suggest bringing my best friend and her two daughters down for five nights and five days to stay in our dvc. I'd pay hotel and groceries to cover breakfast, snacks and one meal a day in the villa. I'd ask her to pay her passes, air fare and one cs per day. How much should I tell her?

Her oldest starts high school in a year so I figure it's this year or not at all. Want to have all my info straight before I broach the subject.

For adults it's around $13 + tax for a meal and drink (add $3-4 if wanting dessert) and $6 + tax for a children's meal. A good, rough estimate would be $31/day for one QS meal.

There is a big range of prices for CS - Wolfgang Puck pizza is not the same price as Pizzafari pizza. Factor in things like their preferences/appetites, the possibility of splitting a meal with the 7 yo (my DD & I split adult CS meals most of the time), choice of drink(s), dessert, etc... But to be on the safe side, I would think that $40-50 /day would cover them. It could certainly be a LOT less (as in $20/day) if they plan ahead, skip the sides (which usually lowers the price, even if it's not listed on the menu as an a la carte item), order water instead of soda, skip desserts, etc.

I hope it works out and they are able to go with you!!

When I budget I like to round up..

Adults quick service, $20.00
Kids QS - $15.00

that way its definitely covered plus some for any "oh, I want that or that" :)

My bet is she would be in this camp. She's a light eater. We would have snacks and desserts from the villa. My daughter has a peanut allergy so I always bake a lot of cookies, brownies etc for treats. We have lots of snacks we carry too so she could probably get by on the lower end. Thanks. I sure hope we can make this work too. Have to float the idea with dh today.
