How much time would you allow to get to Whispering Canyon from AK?

We want to go to the WCC on Animal Kingdom day.
How do you reccomend we get to WCC and how long will it take?

I was just going to post that very question as we will be going from the AK to Whispering Canyon on 10/5.

When you leave AK you'll take the WL bus.

I would allow an hour from the time you leave the park, but it will probably take less time than that.

Figure a few minutes to get from the turnstiles to the bus stop, and if you just miss a bus, up to a 20 minute wait for the next one. Then the trip to WL, figure 15-20 minutes. Then the walk from the WL bus stop to WCC.

It can be done in as little as 25-30 minutes if you walk fast, arrive at the bus stop as the bus is leaving, and don't hit much traffic.

Driving your car there will take you about 15 minutes. If a car isn't an option, then take the bus from AK to Wilderness Lodge. Allow 45 minutes between the potential wait and the actual trip.
