How much time will TS meal take??

I have done very few TS restaurants in the past and can't recall if the service was fast in hopes to get you in and out fast or if TS is a slow-take-your-time kind of experience.

I have mixed feelings. I would like to sit and enjoy the ambiance of a place like LC, however, I would also like to get my booty back out to the parks as quickly as possible.

Any well traveled vets have good input? Are TS places fairly quick (in general)?

We don't usually sit and linger and on eht deluxe dining plan we were averaging between an hour to an hour and a half for dining.

We pretty much felt leke we controlled how long it took. We never felt rushed.

that is for one adult and two kids at the time.

We just got back from a 9 day trip, and we were on DxDDP. Like the previous poster, we found meals took between 60 and 90 minutes; we were getting appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Overall, we found the service to be pretty snappy if not downright rushed -- entrees arriving before appetizers are finished, dessert orders taken while still eating entrees, etc. The only notable exceptions were Jiko, where the service was perfectly timed and paced according to a signature-level experience, and Cal. Grill, where the CM had too many tables seated at once and left us sitting for 20 minutes before even taking a drink order.

Overall, I'd say that the restaurants are trying to find the fine line between efficiently turning the tables and allowing you to enjoy your meal. If you have a particular schedule at any given time, you can definitely let your CM know and ask to have the check dropped early, or to be alerted if you order anything that takes extra time in the kitchen, etc. We never felt that we were being forced out early, we were accommodated when we did ask to be out by a certain time, but there's definitely a process in place to move people in and out. (Understandable given the number of times we heard at TS places that they weren't taking ANY walk-ups because they were booked solid.)

For the most part we are in and out in 45min to an hour. It is just DH and I, so we don't linger to long with characters or anything else.

I will say that it depends on where you are eating as to the service and whether they are on top of things or slow.

Ohana is one of the worst for being slow, at least this is our experiences with it. The server is never around, slow to bring drinks, even food. So we have learned to give this meal extra time. Usually it is an hour and half, once it was closer to 2 hours.

We were 45-min to an hour for all of our meals as well, except for Liberty tree Tavern where they were having an extremely slow night.

It seemed paced well to me (alhtough we tend to be quick eaters). I never felt rushed.
