We have made a few of our dining reservations and when reading the conditions and terms of the dining request, it says to give yourself up to 1 and 1/2 hours of travel time to get to the restaurant. Yikes!

We are staying at SSR and have dining reservations as follows:

*Character breakfast at Cape May Cafe at 7:45am

*dinner at AK Tusker House at 5:05pm

*dinner at MK Liberty Bell Tavern 5:05pm

Does anyone have any advice as to how long we should allot ourselves to get from SSR to the different parks and resorts?

I should add that we are using Disney transportation only and that we plan to return to our room everyday for naps.

TIA!

To get to Cape May get a cab, there is a Character Meal bus but I am not sure how reliable it is. Maybe someone else will know.

As far as getting to MK and AK I would allow an hour to get there by bus, go through the turnstiles and get to the restaurant.

If you're only using Disney transportation, yes, definitely allow yourself that much time. There's no resort to resort transportation, so the only transport that is guaranteed to be less than a half hour, assuming the bus comes on time, is your MK dinner @ LTT.

I would highly suggest you take a cab to Cape May, that early in the morning.

Going from resort to resort on Disney transportation, the 1.5 hours is probably safe. I usually give it at least 1 hour. Sometimes it takes that long, sometimes it doesn't.

However, except for the Cape May reservation (and if you are determined not to take a cab I'd look into a character breakfast bus to Studios for that one, I think the boat would be running to BC but it would take 20 minutes just to ride the boat there, not counting any time spend waiting for the boat to arrive) the restaurants you mentioned are in parks. I would allow at least 45 minutes to an hour to travel from a resort to a park. Because SSR has five separate bus stops, some of it will depend on exactly where you board and how many other stops the bus will make before leaving for the park.
