We are looking forward to going to Citricos and have the earliest seating already @ 5:30 when it opens. How much time for a meal with just two adults should we plan for? We are heading to MK when we finish and Wishes will be at 8:00.

Thanks so much!

Peace. :hippie:

Thanks KathyK.

I was thinking we should be able to finish by 7:30 and hop the monorail to MK before 8:00 but I don't know if we should cut it this close to get a spot to see Wishes.

I will give it some more thought!

Peace.

If you plan to order 3 courses, I would give it 2 hours to be on the safe side.
If you don't finish in time to get in MK, there's a nice view from the GF boat dock, which is a short walk from Citricos. They have speakers on the dock and pipe in the music. Great view, and a lot less crowded than inside the park.

It depends on how fast you order, how fast you eat, and if you happen to get a monorail right away.

Last Nov we had 5:30 reservations for my birthday and while dur to circumstances we got there about 5:40 instead we were seated immeadiately and ordered fairly quickly- we had already choosen out what we wanted to order on online menus.

I had a soup, we both had entrees, and we both had desserts and i think we were headed back to BLT before 7pm. As soon as i finished my soup our entrees came to the table and our desserts did not take long- although we ordered them as soon as we finished our entrees.

If you let the server know you would like to leave by 7:15-7:30 they can help speed things up. Sometimes we go quickly when signature dining and sometimes we want a much more liesurely pace and if we let our server know they are always happy to oblige.

As has been said, if ALL you want to do is see fireworks, no real need to head back to the MK. They are well seen from several spots at the GF.
As to the meal--ours take from 1.5 to 2 hours. But we get drinks, apps, and dessert along with the meal. And we always finish one course before we order another, to prevent the bums rush.

Thanks KathyK.

First, let your server know what your post-meal plans are so they can accommodate. They can easily get you out in 90 minutes if they are aware that you prefer that pace. They plan on a two hour seating and pace service to it.

I think you'll want to give yourself an extra 15 minute cushion for that, but you won't need more.

OP here, thank you all for sharing your thoughts on this!

I decided to move the Citricos ressie to later in the trip and later in the evening. I am really looking forward to this meal when we get to it.

My DH who doesn't always travel with me to WDW likes to see the fireworks while in the MK so I need to plan so he gets to be in the park when they happen. We will eat in the park so we will be ready when the fireworks start! :wizard:

Peace.
