How much time to see NASA at port?

IS there s space/nasa site to tour at the Port? Was wondering hoe much time it takes to tour it if there is.

We tried to do NASA on our disembarkment day. The tour itself takes about 2 1/2 hours, which was about all we had. We only had time for one of the other exhibits, since our flight was at 3:00. Then we rushed to the airport only to find out our flight was delayed!

It probably takes about 4-5 hours to do everything at NASA. Also, you are definately no longer in WDW - the lines for things move very slowly.

MarkLem - they might enjoy the IMAX theatre showing along with the gift shop, but all-in-all I would advise against this tour for at least the two younger children...

Perhaps for the 8 year old???

Living in Florida, we visited many times when it was free to get in(and we had no kids then).

Last June, we took the family (kids 9, 7, and 3). I thought the price was a bit high for what the facility now offers (particularly since it is owned by you and me taxpayers). You can no longer visit the International Space Station assembly area or the Vehicle Assembly Building since 9/11.

My three year old had the most fun in one gift shops playing with the polished rocks for sale!

Food will set you back too (burgers/fries/soda for 5 at more than $50)

Unless your kids are really into space exploration, its a fairly expensive visit, and they might not enjoy your money's worth.

I would suggest looking at the online vistors site like to determine interest before committing to go, particularly if you don't have at least half a day (4 to 6 hours) to see the most interesting things.
