How much time to allow?

Hi all

We will be arriving to SNA at 4:10 - we will need to get luggage and a shuttle to Candy Cane Inn. I would like to take dd to Goofy's Kitchen for dinner that night as a "kick-off" to our vacation. What time do you think I should make a reservation for? Would 6:30 be too early? 7:00?

I say allow 20 minutes to get off the plane. Another 10-15 to wait for your luggage. It takes 20 to thirty minutes to get to DLR from SNA in moderate traffic. Assume that you are going to spend another 30 minutes to an hour checking in at the Candy Cane and getting situated. Taking this into consideration, I would plan dinner around 7ish. If you are ready earlier, you can either enjoy the hotel grounds at the DLH or shop in DTD until your PS's are ready.

I havent' figured out the shuttle yet... Super shuttle perhaps?

We are coming in on a Saturday so that will help (rush hour traffic in So Cal is awful I know...)

I wonder if I should do this? 7pm will be 8pm for us...kinda late for eating ... but then again we will need to get something for dinner and dd will love it.
