What's a conservative estimate of how long I should allow to get from Epcot to DTD? I have a reservation at T-Rex and want to make sure I allow enough time.

An hour, once you get to the bus area. No buses travel between the parks and Downtown Disney, so you will have to board a bus to a resort and switch over to the Downtown Disney bus.

You have several choices.....
1. walk to BW or BC and take the DTD bus from there.
2. take the SSR bus from Epcot to SSR, then walk or boat to DTD
3. take the POR bus from Epcot and then take the boat to DTD from POR

In all cases, I would leave at least an hour to get to DTD...in fact, I would probably leave 90 mins, just to be sure. You can always wander around DTD for a bit if you get there early. But, getting to DTD seems to take the longest amounts of time compared to all other destinations.

I'd plan on at least 90 min if you are using Disney transportation. I learned that one being 30 min late for a BBB appt. a few years ago. At that time I believe the Disney recommendation as 45 min if using their transportation. We budgeted an hour and were still late.

When I've driven my own car, I find that if I leave the park's parking lot 30 min before my reservation, that is usually quite sufficient. That really depends on when your reservation is, and the crowd level for the time of the year though. I have always had good luck finding parking in the lot in front of T-Rex. It's my parking area of choice for DTD!
