How much time should we leave?

We are planning on spending a couple of hours in the park (MK) tomorrow before driving from the TTC to MCO. We also have to return our rental to Alamo before checking our bags. We do plan on checking in online for our flights later thisn afternoon. Our Airtran flight leaves at 1:51 pm.

When should we leave the MK to board the monorail to the TTC in order to get to the airport on time? Also, what is the best route from the TTC to MCO? Even if we only have an hour or two in the park, I promised our DD that we would do one last quick ride.

I think you should be stepping out the turnstiles at 10:15 at the latest.

I am leery about using the monorail as it has numerous breakdowns. Use the ferry instead to return to the parking lot (TTC).

Just follow the airport signs and take 417. It is better and less conjested than taking 528.

As pp stated, 417 is the best way to go. There will be two $1.25 tolls along the way.

If your returning a car to MCO and have to fill your gas tank, there is a 7-11 right off exit 8 that is easy to get to and you can get right back on 528. The very next exit is the airport.

Cheap gas!

Thanks again. I'm a little worried about missing the exit to the airport. Is it clearly marked? The last time we drove back to the airport we made a wrong turn and got lost.

If you go on 417, it's I believe it's the next exit after the toll booth. Boggy Creek.

From the TTC, get on World Drive, there's a gas station there, get gas (unless you prepaid). I would then take the exit for Epcot, then pass the Epcot entrance and that will take you straight onto 536 which turns into 417. That's the route I took last October. There's also a gas station right after you cross the light at 535.
