How much time should I set aside?

If our plane lands at 9:45 in the morning, and we have to go to CSR to check-in and then immediately to DHS, how many hours should I set aside from the time we land to the time we could be in the park? I hope this makes sense!

2.5 - 3 hours.

At least an hour to get to the resort (and that is best case scenario and no delays at airport/rental car/ME). Another 1 - 1/2 hours to check in, settle in, travel to parks and get through gate.

My last solo trip I got to airport at 1:30 and I was to AK by 4pm - just in time for the start of the parade. So 2 1/2 hours! That was using ME.

I agree with the 3 hours. It will really depend on if you're plane lands on time and how quickly the check in process takes.
