How much time for narcoossee's dinner?

We are planning to go to Narcoossee's for dinner b4 the 9 pm La Nouba show . What time should we try to get for our ADR ? How much time do we need to set aside for dinner ?
Any idea how long it would take to get to downtown after dinner ?

I would plan on 90 minutes for dinner at a signature. If you are taking Disney transportation, I'd leave yourself 40 minutes.

We ordered an appetizer, entree, and dessert and dinner took around 2 hours.

Using the bus, the general travel time estimate is about 45 minutes. It can be shorter or longer, so keep that in mind. In my opinion, the best way to get there would be to take a taxi.

I too usually plan close to 2 hours for signature meals.
Also, they want you at the theatre for La Noumba 30 minutes in advance, there is a "pre show".
I too would take a taxi, but still leave plenty of time.

Two hours seems to be the minimum at Narcoossees for us. The service tends to be very slow. I like the food, though!

Trying to rush before a show is never fun. Worrying about WDW transportation is even less fun. Either plan on budgeting a taxi or plan on a dinner at DTD where you can eat a normal dinner time and then stroll down to the theater for the show. There are plenty of street peformers and streetmosphere at DTD. If you really want to eat the GF then plan an early dinner at 5:00 pm or 5:30pm, then plan on some walk time at DTD to digest your big heavy dinner.

I agree that it was a solid 2 hours for us as well between appetizers, entrees and dessert during Wishes.

We drove our own car and I gave us 30 minutes travel time to everywhere and we usually took that full 30 minutes.

this is why i just cancelled my CG ADR and now have no Signatures booked now. The kids are going to be tired after the day the parks and a two hour quiet dinner just doesn't bode well unfortunately.

This makes me feel better. We like to space our meals, and will be doing 3 courses and I set our ADR at 7:50, hoping to catch both the water parade and Wishes.
