W have a 7:30 AM PS for Cape May bkfst on our departure day. About how long does the breakfast take? I'm trying o figure out if we have time to make it from there to the airport for a 10:30 flight.

With a party of 4 it usaually takes us about an hour from start to finish. We like to take our time. This is a great Character meal.

Hope this helps.

I'd have to say that you probably are cutting it close. It will take you a MINIMUM of 45 minutes, probably an hour. Then you have the 30 minute or so drive to the airport. Leving you only 1 1/2 hours left to return your rental car, check-in and get through security (which at MCO can be a wildcard).

No way!

You need to get to MCO two hours in advance--this is one airport that still has some REALLY long lines for security and bag check!

It takes half an hour to get to the airport.

That leaves half an hour to be seated and eat.

In all honesty normally it's a minimum of 45 minutes from the time you are seated to the time you leave, and it's likely that you won't be in your seats at 7:30.

We just ate there on our check out day also(Sunday)! We were there in early May. We had 7:30 a.m. p.s's and we were seated immediately. There were not many people in the restaraunt at the time. I don't know what time they open. the character's came over right away and by 1/2 - 45 mins later we were finished eating and had seen them all. Maybe my experience is unusual???? This was by far the best meal we had in WDW. I would go back in a second. Can you get an earlier seating just in case? Another 1/2 hour earlier maybe? Maybe another day?

Thanks for your help. Think I'll move it to another day if I can. It wouldn't be relaxing to be worrying about the airport. Also,I forgot Sunday (the day we're leaving) is when the cruise ships disembark .

Because of your good advice I moved it till 2 days earlier. Thanks again!

I am glad that you will be able to make this breakfast. Like I said in my previous post, this was our best meal in all WDW. Hope you enjoy it too! Have a great trip!
