not much, their mother hogs it, lol.

weekdays...as much time as they need for homework.
weekends...a few hours

Maybe one of two hours a night, but usually she's just talking to friends (they call each other and tell each other to get on the computer). When I go check in on her she's usually listening to music and playing games. We have cable internet access and three computers so we 3 can be on the computer at the same time if we wanted to. Like now DD and I are both using the computer.

DH has watchdog installed. It controls computer use. The kids get up to 2 hrs. a day if their chores and homework are done.

We have 3 computers and wireless cable modem so it doesn't cut in to DH & my DIS time.

The older kids are on all the time. We have 4 computers in the house that are networked and have internet access. The youngest is probably on the internet an hour a night. On the weekend it's probably longer, but we limit it so she's not missing out on life.

I just asked my 16 yr old that...she's sitting here watching TV while I DIS. If I wasn't DISing she'd probably be on here playing a game or AOL IMing while she watches TV or talks on the phone or listens to music. I stopped time limits (an hour per night AFTER homework was done) after her freshman year (she's a junior). I figured as long as she maintained her grades, participated in some sports and activities, and some family time at our request and in general "have a life" away from the keyboard ...that I wouldn't hound her. She came up with the same time estimate as I did..........an hour to two a day during the week, most of which is AOL-IMing with friends and/or games. SHe also uses it for homework/research, above and beyond the recreational use. She's maintained honor roll status consistently so I can't complain...though sometimes I boot her out so I can DIS

I have a computer in my room and between Instant Messenger (which is how i communicate with my friends) and the DIS and everything else...I spend WAY too much time online lol.

But I think my mom is on more than me.
