How much time do you allow for dinner before fireworks?

Planning to eat at Marrakesh (party of 2) on a Saturday in August before fireworks (9pm start). We want to view the fireworks outside of the restaurant. Would you reserve 7 or 7:30? Wasn’t sure if I should allow 90 or 120 minutes for dinner before Illuminations?

I would reserve at 7. while its unlikely you will wait long to be seated, I prefer to error on the side of having extra time if needed. We really enjoyed our meal there. Hopefully you do as well. Its a hidden gem.

7:30 is cutting it a little close. Prompt service isn't really a WDW core value. 7:15 could possibly work. 7:00 would give you enough time to elbow your way to a decent viewing spot.

I would allow 2 hours for dinner, as Marrakesh allows for leisurely dining and entertainment (a belly dancer!). We really enjoyed our meal there (the lamb was much better than CG) and the service was wonderful! The adorable waiter brought us mint tea, gratis, and helped DD put her pocketbook on her shoulder, lol
