How much time between your trips?

SEems like every few months! I can't stay away.............. I just love that mouse....

We sort of shoot for every other year. We're a family of five, one income, and 18 hours away.

That's about our story too. We haven't driven it in a long time, but I think we are about 18-20 hours away.

We'll be there in August , too!! We also are located in the town of "No Goal and Wide Right". Ha ha- I love that!! See you in the land of magic in Aug!

We have AP's so we try to get there two to three times per year. This may end if the airfares keep climbing in cost.

Hello neighbor! It looks like you will be there the week before us. I would love AP's but I think my DH would kill me.

We are actually making our first attempt at driving this year. But as a compromise we are staying in a 1 BR villa at the boardwalk.

We would go more often if we werent 1,400 miles away and if the kids werent involved in so many sports. Of course we LOVE that we live in NH and that they are involved in so much, just wished we lived a little closer some times!!!

We are a military family so it really depends. 2009 we were able to go 3 trips. 2010 DH was deployed for most of the year and then SIL got married so there was no time left to go to Disney. We just came back from Florida a week ago so a little over a year between our last trip. It is probably the last time we go to Florida this year since we will be moving next year we want to save extra money.

We have gone each August for the last two years and plan to go again this year, so 12 months. We time it to our son's birthday at the end of August, which also manages to be a cheap and less crowded time to go, even though it's hot! However, I think this may be our last Disney trip for a while as we are having a baby in 3 weeks (yikes!!) and we may do more family-related travel or branch out and do other things going forward. Then when the baby is older, we'll resume Disney World trips.

We try and go every year. I have seemed to passed down my Disney DNA, as I call it, to my two sons DS15 and DS17. They still get just as excited as they did when they were little. My sister is a Disney fanatic as well, so she usually goes with us. My husband doesn't have what he refers to as the Disney sickness so he doens't go unless I make him. I am extremely envious of everyone that is fortunate enough to go as often as they want.

We are about 17 hours away. In the mid 80's hubby and I went on our first trip for our 2nd wedding anniversary. 3 years later we took our then 2 year old daughter. That kinda set the stage. We pretty much went every three years. In 2006 we bought into DVC. Got a little carried away and went 3 times a year for the next 2 years. Since then we go either at Spring Break or Summer each year. So every year now.

It used to be every 5 years when kids were small. We went to mountains, beach, Hawaii, and on cruises in between. Now it's just us and we've been going every year since 2007.

its not 14 days each time, I said 11-14 days. The 14 day trip is in the summer, usually the last two weeks of August on the free dining. We go over Thanksgiving for either 11-12 nights. The kids get a small Thanksgiving break at school and they miss either four or five days of school too. If we make a third trip it is in April over break, before baseball got as serious as it is now, they would miss a week of school paired with the week off from school for April vacation. Last April we did the April vacation and just missed a few days of school. Every year is a little different to get away, we just do whatever works.

We have been 5 times in 6 years. We usually go in April because I am a teacher and that is when spring break is. We weren't going to go this year but got a pin code for free dining so we are going in June....just our family of 4 for the first time...can't wait!!

I've been aiming for every 11-12 months! Hopefully if I get my DVC soon it'll be 3x a year for a week each time

I like the whole idea of having to plan 11 months out since I have trouble making time for myself sometimes! Its the only reason I haven't gone more often.

It depends on what else is going on, financially, in our travel plans, and just in life in general. Our longest gap between trips was 23mo between our 3rd & 4th trips, because we had a new baby and bought a bigger house in that time. Shortest was 5mo between 2nd & 3rd, and if we pull our "maybe" trip together that'll be the gap between the last trip and the next too.

Generally right now we go once a year. That'll get less frequent as our youngest gets older because that'll open up more options, but with a toddler/preschooler I stick pretty firmly within my beach, Disney, or semi-local vacation comfort zone.

I'm thinking of planning a trip for october 2012, but it's not definite yet.

We have been going once every year or so. It seems like we have alternated between April and October.
This past year though has been a wee bit crazy.
We went as a family in April '10(CBR-7 nights), then again in Sept/Oct '10(POFQ-13 nights). Dh and I went in Feb. '11(CSR-5 nights) by ourselves.(1st trip alone in 8+ years)...now we leave in 8 days for a family trip this April '11(POP-10 nights).
This will be or last trip for probably at least a year or two...or three. We have a new little one coming and I other big life changes going on.
I'm really hoping to go when the new Value resort opens and the expansion is done.
