How much time between your trips?

We go 2-3 times per year. Once per year (August) is our big weeklong trip. We have APs and DVC so we try to squeeze in another few trips if we can.

We have been every 5 years since we were married. (Neither of us had been before that.) Hoping to change that to a yearly winter trip after our kids are out of college!

Not really an average time around here. We've taken 5 trips as adults (I went once as a teen) plus DS went with his high school band but we didn't go.

1990, 2001, twice in 2004, 2008 and we thought that we were probably done for many years but we're going back this Summer.

We had planned for Washington DC this Summer but I couldn't get any enthusiasm from my crew. The one thing DD14 kept talking about was how much she wanted to go to Universal for Harry Potter. Disney has been sending us a code of some sort every few months for a couple of years and I kept throwing them away until...

Just this week I realized how crazy it was to spend several thousand on DC if no one wanted to go. I tossed out the possiblty of shifting gears and going to Universal and then moving to DIsney with free dining and everyone is excited! Harry Potter is even getting DS26 to go back. He hasn't been since the first 2004 trip.

DD14 said, "I'm so happy, I have really been missing DIsney."

In between we've been to San Antonio, Dallas, Seattle, New Orleans, Vegas, NYC, Niagara Falls, Colorado, England, France.

we also enjoy going to other places so not sure when we'll be back..my younger son wants to be able to go on all the rides so probably head back in another couple of years.

We try and go about once a year ... although not sure what happened in 2005?

We are hoping for November this year and are debating APs since we will be back in Florida for a cruise next November for a wedding (and we will do WDW the week before the cruise).
