How much time between ADR's and fast pass?

I'm wondering how much time to leave to be safe if we 1) have a fast pass before an ADR and 2) have a fast pass after an ADR?

General guidelines?

FP windows are an hour long. The best strategy would be to go and tap in at the very beginning of the window if you have an ADR soon after, or pace your meal so you can make an FP afterward.

I would never schedule an ADR overlapping an FP. (When I plan a trip, I do ADRs first, and then FPs.) You can switch most FP times around on MDE fairly easily.

When you say tap in do you mean go on the ride?

I had a bunch of ADR's and then my fast pass window opened up so I booked those. Some DO overlap but I haven't tried to switch them yet. If memory serves me right though sometimes with ADR's you still have to wait a bit to be seated?

I would budget 90 minutes per ADR.

We average about 60 - 70 minutes an ADR (not including any transportation that may be needed).

I will often overlap an ADR time with the intention of tapping in at the later portion of the window. That way I can hit up the 2nd FP window almost right after it.

For example, if I have a 12:30 ADR at CP in MK, I may do a 1:15 - 2:15 FP for Peter Pan and then 2:15- 3:15 for Pooh. Most likely I will get to PP between 1:45 and 2:00 and then I can catch Pooh at the start of it's window.

I'm assuming the ADR in question is in the same park as your FP+ rezzies.

For me I've been allowing at least 1 hour after a FP+ time begins prior to the beginning of an ADR. Then I allow 2 hours for dining before my next FP+ begins. That may be excessive but I don't like that stressed out "I'm running late" feeling on vacation.

So an example would be:
Spaceship Earth 11am
San Angel Inn 12 noon
Soarn' 2pm
