How much time at Galaxy's Edge?

My son wants to build a lightsaber. I know very little about Star Wars, especially the newer stuff. Smugglers Run is a ride and then Rise of the Resistance is the ride where you have to be lucky enough to get a boarding pass ahead of time correct? Are there any other rides? Those rides do look like something he would love but he said if all he gets to do is make a lightsaber he will be happy. I watched a video and the lady said her boarding pass was 98 and they were only on 60. She also said that just because you get a boarding pass, that doesn't mean you will actually get to ride it. I am not sure why. When and how do we make reservations for making the lightsaber? Where do you make the lightsaber? I am trying to guesstimate how long we want to spend in Galaxy's Edge during our trip. We are all 18 and over,

Yes those are the only two rides in GE.

ROTR has a thread on how to hopefully get a boarding group.

Star tours is located not far from GE.

You make reservations for Savi's starting 60 days out on either the Disney website or app.

Olgas 11:55 AM
Smugglers Run: 12:55 PM
Making a lightsaber 2:40 PM

So I'd say around 4 hours with squeezing in looking at the shops.

Sorry, I'm confused... Is this your plan? If you enter ROTR at 11:20 you likely won't make Oga's at 11:55.

Also confused since you can't pick your time for ROTR or really smuggler's. And reservations are very hard to come by for both Oga's and Savi's so again you can't just go whenever you want.

FYI - you can't just walk into Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. We were placed on a wait list to get inside. So if interested in visiting, put yourself on the list

We got in every time. no wait this week. Just a line to view lightsabers.

I would say 2-5 hours depending upon the lines and how thorough you want to be in visiting the stores and the foods and drinks

We have been able to spend an hour inside the land plus ride times. The shops are really fun to go through. They also have some of the best QS restaurants in HS as well.
