We leave tomorrow!!!

How many bottles of sunscreen should I take for 10 days in the Florida sun??

We use alot, we are fair-skinned Canadians!!

Thanks!

I am a VERY fair Texas girl, family is French from Maine, and I take at least two spray on bottles and one tube of the lotion type. We are generally onsite 10 days. Hope that helps. I burn very easily but have found that is enough for my family of 3.

Whatever amount you carry, don't forget to use it. I'm six years out from a bout with melenoma (celebrated 5 years out with a trip to WDW.) Everyone, please use sunscreen. Having a great tan at the risk of developing a deadly cancer!

I personally took a spray 5oz can, a pocket sized stick, and a pocket sized cream for only 5 days. My friend brought her own stuff too so that was just me. I wore it everyday except for when I stupidly packed it the night before. Just going from 9-1 in epcot, with alot of indoor stuff I burned my shoulders. I am fair skinned german/irish too so to make a long answer short... LOTS

Yes lots. There's something about that Florida sun that just makes you burn easily. ;)

Most of our pictures from past trips we all look like cheeries! Wear sunscreen!

I'm a red head/fair skin/freckles/green eyes girl.

I and my wife (who tans easier than I do but still can burn) bought a fairly big bottle of coppertone sport and almost finished it in 7 days. We are very good about applying and reapplying! So if you really d use it, I suggest at least 2 bottles.

p.s. you did not mention how many were in your party.

There are 4 of us.

We usually wear hats too.

I have to wear it, or I burn like crazy!!

I am leaning towards 3-4 bottles. I saw on Dr. Oz on Oprah once and he said you should ideally use 1 bottle for a day out in the sun! A full bottle!!

I think the general rule is 1 oz (shot glass) of lotion to begin with and then reapply throughout the day. I lathered up last year each morning and then reapplied spray sunscreen around 12 and then 5ish. I didn't burn and I burn really easily.

My deal is usually putting it on at the beginning of the day & I never burned once last year either. I am gonna invest in some of the roll-on stick gimmick so I can keep it with me to use during the afternoons so I can guarantee I won't burn again this year. Burning makes me a very sad panda indeed.

This is exactly what we did and we didnt' get burned either!

Just remember in case you run out that they do sell it in the parks and resorts. My DH & I are usually fine with one bottle, but I always like to have extra.

We were at WDW last week for 4 days and spent 2 of them at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. We used up two 5 ounce bottles of Bull Frog and none of the three of us burned.

Bull Frog is great stuff. It's a weird consistency and feels kind of funny on your skin, but you only have to apply it once or twice a day even if you're in the water. I'm fair skinned and it is by far the best stuff I've used.
