How much sunscreen do you bring?

How many bottles do you bring for your trip and how many people/days does it cover? We are going for 11 days and will need to cover two adults and three kids. We will do mostly parks (afternoon breaks) and a couple afternoons at the pool. So far I have two 3 oz bottles for the plane and 6 spray sunscreen bottles (I recall that they run out quickly). Then I am thinking we will also bring a kid's copper tone lotion for my youngest and for faces. Will that be enough or should I get a couple of bottles?

I bring one. But we only use it on our face and our neck (and my son's scalp), but we aren't ever in the pool.

we are a family of 4- we bring one face stick for kids and one spray bottle for them, one bottle of cream for adults and one face cream for adults. this usually gets us about 8 days w/ reapplication and pool time. The spray bottle is toast towards the end.. but then we give the kids some of our sunscreen cream.

I will be bringing one spray bottle for each day we will be at the pool/water park. We are two adults and one 5-year-old. I also pack a face stick and a travel-size tube of sunscreen (for shoulders, mostly) for daily park use. Last year I packed too little, and that was an expensive $20 mistake!

We are a family of five and usually bring two 3 oz squeeze bottles, and 1 face stick. Our trips are typically 10-11 days and those last us. Sometimes we don't even touch the 2nd bottle.

I'm blonde with blue eyes, and we just got back from a week's trip.

To be honest, one bottle was more than enough. The only time we needed it was for the pool.

The rest of the time, we were in and out of rides, in and out of the shade, in and out of the shops and the AC.

The only day I got any color at all was the day I spent an hour in the pool.

I'm Irish with the skin to boot. I bring one bottle of sunscreen, and it lasts me, but I also have to apply it on every exposed area of skin, otherwise I burn.

I know other people I travel with pack their own sunscreen.

2 bottles for 3 of us. Put it on in the morning before getting dressed for the day and before and after using the pool. Seems like plenty. DD and I are blonde with fair skin and burn easily

We bring different types~
For 2 adults , 2 teens we will have 2 cans of California Baby- thick stuff hard to rub in- for long pool hours.
But we don't love that for everyday walking around so will have 2 bottles of #30 lotion, for shoulders and tops of feet and maybe a face or two.
And then probably a bottle of #4 that we just use for our arms and legs ( best stuff for us with allergies/sensitivities- but not enough all day protection)
And a stick of total block.
And a few lip balms/chapsticks.
It's a PIA and heavy in our backpack!
I don't like the spray and wouldn't trust it in the Florida summer sun. One missed spot can be a nightmare.

I'm that crazy mom that you can see the sunscreen in the pictures when we're at the beach (but also, my kids have never been burned on my watch either). 2 adults; 2 children (12 & 9). I bring 4 tubes of cream which we apply 3-4 times a day and 3 cans of spray which we use in between. One tube of face specific cream and we each have our own lip balm with spf. (week long trip)

We're from Texas and we go through gallons during the summer.

**I will note though that I don't buy the big tubes - I don't know ounces, but it's a natural sunscreen so the bottles are a bit smaller (of course) and more expensive (of course) LOL

DS and I are so pale that we won't need to dress up for MNSSHP! So sunscreen is vital. Also with my 2, they have sensitive skin so can only use a certain type. I bring one mineral powder brush (with the powder inside so it goes on) for hairlines, parts and ears (and quick touchups), spray for DH (2-3 bottles as they do run out quickly), then will probably bring 3-4 tubes of vanicream sunscreen just in case for our 10 day trip. I fully expect to go through at least 2 between the three of us and reapplying through the day.

Probably 2-3, more when they were younger.

We only lotion the face, ears, neck, chest and arms. None of us get burned legs from walking around.

Worse comes to worse you can buy an overpriced tube at the resort.

That's plenty - but don't forget to bag the spray stuff when you put it in your luggage if you are flying - don't want a pressure change to cause a mess! Also, when you are using the spray stuff, try to stay away from living plants/grass while spraying. The sunscreen kills plants by blocking sunlight for photosynthesis. My kids used to spray it on while standing in the grass, and that created dead spots with green footprints inside the dead circle...

We brought 2 bottles for 5 people for 6 days but we all wore rashguards during swimming and we had more than enough. And I am very very very pale. No one burned or got even a little pink. I put some on our faces/arms and legs every day but I never even reapplied. We did rope drop, afternoon breaks and returned to the parks around 5ish.

I bring 2 bottles for 5 people to share. Dd and I also bring our own bottle of stuff for our face, and I bring a powder sunscreen. The only time we apply more than once a day is if we are sitting by the pool or at the beach.

We are a family of four. I brought two tubes of sunscreen (cream) and a three ounce carry-on size. We went through a whole tube (8 days at WDW + a few extra days visiting family).
