What is a realistic amount to be spent on food per day, Breakfast will be included in hotel so for lunch and dinner per day for 2 adults 1 toddler and 1 year old. Just for meals without snacks?

If I were you I would look through DLRPMagic and choose the types of places you'd like to eat, price up what you'd order and use that as a base guide! That's what we do, for each day once we know where we might like to eat! Lol but I'm a bit OCD!

How much do the little ones eat? Can they share the adult meals? You can get away with not buying drinks for them by taking beakers,.... If the toddler us a big eater and likely to eat the kids meal options you get in some restaurants (or share with 1 yr old) there's normally a drink as part of that....

I'm allowing €450 for 5 days lunch and dinner each day for 1 adult, two kids which is made up of:
Counter service x 4
Lucky Nugget x1
And dinners at:
Walts, Inventions, Rainforest Cafe and King Ludwigs.
And dinner on the way home on the day we leave DLP.

It could be done much, much cheaper and there is a McDonalds in the Village plus you can easily do lunch on the cheap from the Casino shop in the train station near the entrance to the parks. In October we spent about €320 on food for 5 days again 1 adult two kids. The buffets at the Santa Fe and Cheyenne are good value. If you want more of an idea of what to expect check out the DLRP magic menu pages

Bear in mind that some of the character meals are very expensive...Inventions and Auberge de Cendrillion in particular. Cafe Mickey isn't cheap but you can share pizzas there to make it more affordable.

That's what I was going to say :goodvibes. I think most buffets cost about €24 per adult plus maybe another €25 for snacks drinks etc so maybe €75 ish per day.

With us we have brekkies at the hotel, at around 2pm we have an early dinner rather than lunch then in the evening we have hot chocs and some buns/brioche etc.

Quite often we have crisps & soft drinks back at the hotel and in hot weather we'd spend more on cold drinks ice creams etc. in cold weather we'd have more hot drinks and crepes.

This year we have free half board and free pause gourmand vouchers (gourmet break) so we will only be paying for our snacks :cool1:

Pizza Planet, The Cheyenne/Santa Fe, Restaurant des Stars are under €25 for adult buffet. The rest are around €30 and upwards.

We budget €100 euros a day, for everything, 3 adults, 1 child. We work out where we are gping to eat before hand and make sure we eat twice if counter service or one buffet plus breakfast. All of us sometimes have kids meals so that the money we save, goes towards the last day.

One trip however, we took €450, for 5 days, and added and extra night off site for €35 because we ate off site for €25 (2 adults, 1 child) and didn't want to leave!
