Does anyone know the average rainfall in July? We have never been before and are wondering, if it rains, and if so how much in July ?
Thanks

Not to be a "wet" blanket - but it rains alot. We've been to WDW in July and had several days of non-stop rain and thunderstorms. I've yet to really experience the "quick shower" phenomenon. I never get that lucky. Aside from that, July is a great time to visit - everything is running and the parks (at least in the past) stay open later. Also a great time for waterparks. Nothing like staying soaked all day long when it's 95 with 100% humidity.;)

Last summer I was there from the 14th to the 21st. It was really bad since it rained once for like 15 minutes one day and was extremely hot the rest of the days (heat indexes in the 110's). 95 would have been a blessing. I believe it was 115 on our Epcot day. Gets a little warm walking on the blacktop. It did torrentially downpour for several hours on our last day with thunderstorms bad enough to delay our flight out for over an hour.
The year before, it rained every single day for about 10 minutes with one day of about 4 hours of rain.
It really all depends on what week you go and how the weather is that particular week. The weather in FL is not what I call predictable and stable.

It really is a Small World!

Yeah, I plan to go to Disney to get out of the cold and the rain and then the weather shows sunny and 75 this weekend and shows rain in FL. Guess I can never get away from it!

We were there the last week of July last year and it rained for about 1 hour the whole week we were there and that was our first day and not unil evening. So you can see even by the few responses so far that it varies greatly, just expect it and continue on.

the norm rain is usually between 3pm & 6pm EVERYDAY. There are always the days that stray from the norm....but a good rule of thum is to count on it....when you live here .... you just get use to it......one tip I can give is if there is lightning....take cover....if not....enjoy the parks in the rain...they will not be crowded LOL ;)

We were there last June 29 -July 6. It rained every day . Eight days straight!! And it didn't let up. When there wasn't any lightning, we just put on the ponchos and went on. Just be prepared and hope for the best.

We go most in the summer months, June, July or August. It tends to rain most days in the afternoon (3pm) for 10 to 20 minutes.

Now last June when we went it rained morning, afternoon and evenings. It was not what we were use to and we have been going every year since 98.

We were at the water park one day and it started raining! People left the WATER park and when the rain stopped after about 30 minutes the park was empty:rolleyes:
