How much PER DAY should I plan on spending?

We are eating breakfast in the room, lunch probably on site or packing about half the days- dinner offsite.
We'll do meal vouchers for pizza planet, and beaches and cream, and one deluxe for the rainforest place (late lunch/dinner)

We will only need 2 adult meals, the kids are light eaters and so am I.
Dinners will be pretty low key- steak and shake, etc. nothing too fancy-

What is a reasonable budget for food etc. ?

That is a tough question. I'm wondering the same thing. We too are going to be eating breakfast in the room most days. Late lunches most likely in the parks. Dinners we are going to wing it. Nothing fancy or overly expensive if we can find such a place.
There will be 4 of us. (2 adults,2 children) At this time I'm planning on $100 per day minimum. It could be more once I review where we want to eat etc... I hear you have to practically strap an ATM machine to your back when at Disney so we will be prepared. LOL

I'm anxious to see other people's responses to your question.

It may be helpful to look at WDW Menus as some have prices listed. Even if they are not current you can get an idea of cost.

The cost at counter service is what you will find at most ball parks and places like 6 Flags, but you will find greater variety at WDW especially at World Showcase in EPCOT.Eating at WDW just adds to all the fun of a vacation and sets the vacation apart from just going to 6 Flags
