How much of an issue should price be?? OUr choices

Here are our hotel choices...

Boardwalk Villa (most expensive)
Renting a 7 bedroom house
Comfort Inn LBV

Normally we stay on property but my friend can get us an employee rate at the comfort inn and for 4 rooms for 7 days would be less than our 2 villas at the boardwalk for 2 nights.

Do you think staying on property is worth it???

Having stayed onsite, offsite, in rental homes--you name it-- I think each has their advantages. I am not opposed to any of them. Usually the time of year, length of trip, ect affect my decision on where to stay.

Personally, if I could do the 7 bedroom house or the Comfort Inn for a lot less then I'd probably go that route. I haven't seen any decrease in having a magical trip offsite. I do like the ease of being onsite-- but I do find the onsite trips to cost me almost 50% more. Between higher resort rates and food. We tend to go offsite to eat less and it's much more to eat there. We usually only stay onsite for 3-4 day trips so we don't spend too much.

If price *really* isn't an issue, then BW, hands down For convenience, onsite magic, choice of, well, everything!

But if $$ are for any member of your group, go for the house.. just make sure you talk, talk, talk before you go so everyone knows what everyone else's expectations are..
