ok we are a family of six. We are going to pay for hotel air, tickets into park. How much spending money should we bring for 8 days? I want at least 2 character dinners.

I would imagine $1600 would be about the minimum to cover meals, snacks, souvies, and other incidentals.

I would also say that a minimum of $1600 would be a good amount. That would be approximately $200/per day - that is about what we take for a family of 5. To give yourself a little cushion you may want to figure $250/day.
