How much money should we bring to the park? We'll be there 2 full days. We'll be staying mainly inside DL, but might go over to DCA for a little bit. It will be my DW, DD 6, DD 1 and myself. We'll also probably be doing at least 1 meal a day inside the park. Thanks.

How much money to bring to the Park depends on where you'll be eating and what souvenirs you'd like to take home. Table service restaurants are a bit more expensive than counter service, but are so very worth it if you're having just one meal a day inside the Park. Here's a link to the (fairly accurate) current menus and prices at all the restaurants on Disney property: http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/menus.htm . These you can use to estimate how much to budget for food during your trip. If you're planning on doing any Character meals, be aware that the prices fluctuate due to the time of year (on/off season)...to avoid any "surprises", ask the CM with whom you make Preferred Seating arrangements with what the costs should be when you'll be there. If you're a member of AAA, you can get a discount at some of the table service restaurants.

We are a family of 4, my two girls are 7 and 2. If we are eating at counter service places, we can usually get by on about $60 a day. We usually eat at places like Pizza Port and Rancho Del Zocalo. The portions are pretty large and we share. My girls usually share a kids meal or sometimes I bring them Uncrustables for their lunch. We also bring in snacks (goldfish, fruit snacks, etc.) and usually purchase one "treat" each day.

3 people here, plan on 100.00 a day, for counter service and snacks. on days we will eat at port orleans and other sit downs we plan 150.00 a day or more.

There are 6 of us and we budget $150.00/day, does not always work out to be that though.

we go by 40$ per person per day, not counting character meals or special meals like BB.
This worked out well for us and eliminated eating 4-5 churros in a day LOL
We also brought our own water bottles in a cooler :)

My kids and I visited the park earlier this month for 3 days. Mon ~ 10am-8pm Tues ~ 8am-8pm Wed 9am-5:30pm

I spent ~

$6 on Churros
$6 on Dole Whips
$14.33 at Pizza Port
+ An additional $240 using Disney Dollars and Disney Gift Cards.

DD had an appointment @ BBB ($50) we had brunch @ Minnie's ($50), dessert only at both Carnation Cafe & BB (well DD got Pixie Punch @ BB) we had dinner at Trattoria one evening, a corn dog and turkey leg lunch. We bought Mickey Lollipops, 2 bags of pretzels, a caramel apple & a marshmallow stick at Pooh's Shop by Splash Mtn. DS bought a pirate book.

We split meals at most places.

I highly recommend the Matterhorn Sundae at Carnation Cafe ~ very fun on a warm afternoon. It was too much for the 3 of us!

For food/snacks/drinks only, we probably spend about 125-150 a day. Then again, we tend to snack a LOT.

This does not include all the money we bring for souviners, especially the ridiculous amount of pins we buy. I won't even share what we spend on that. Luckily we only go to DL once or twice a year. Spend the rest of the year letting our pocketbooks and credit cards recovering. :rotfl:

One caramel corn, bottle of water as I was riding the bus, cup of free water, french fries, and bacon cheeseburger. With AP was about $17. I normally would have skipped the water bottle and caramel corn and just done lunch at about $10 or less.

If you took $250 that should cover all meals and a snack or two. Although I found a great way to save money. Bring little packets of coolaid or iced tea or even crystal light. Ask for ice water which is free and you are good to go. It saves you $2.98 or more each time your kids want a drink.
