How much money do you take?

Traveler's Cheques can be replaced, cash can not. I'd take cash for tips, but if you need "money", bring traveler's cheques. They're well worth it if something happens to them.

We like to charge as much as possible and then pay it off when we get home. We take some cash for snacks or quick drinks. We plan for about $80 a day on snacks, souvenirs, odds and ends, etc.

For 5-8day stay family of 4 , I take $400 with plenty of singles and usually come home with a bit left over.

Usually use Disney Dining Plan so just need cash for gratuity (no longer covered on dining plan) counter service breakfasts and snacks not otherwised covered on dining plan, housekeeping and baggage tips, souvenirs, and other incidentals. But i do bring alot of our own snacks, water bottles, juice boxes, etc. --as much as i can fit into our luggage.

I typically don't charge anything but take credit cards anyway. It's nice to have trip prepaid and most food prepaid with Diningplan so can come home without bills to pay.

Not that much, we use our Dis Visa for everything and the room card (with the Visa attached). We took a 9 day trip in March/April and took $500 and came home with $200

My sister and I are going on a 4day trip (in 5 days!!) and we have been saving up cash. Birthday money, sell back your book money, tax refund money, etc and we have wound up with somewhere in the $200 range. I am excited to eat lots of food!
