We are interested in taking a limo from Port Canaveral to WDW after our cruise. There will be six of us. I am guessing that each person will have one bag. Can we fit that much luggage in a limo. If it will not fit, can we put the extra up front with the driver. I really want to book a limo to suprise my children, but I am really worried about the luggae.

The trunks aren't much larger than the towncar. It depends on the size of your luggage, too. If you limit it to two large and 3-4 small/medium size bags you'll probably be fine.

Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong - I'm thinking back to 2004 so it's all a little fuzzy right now.

A driver recently posted that the trunk size for a town car and limo is exactly the same. FL Tours says you can fit 2 big bags and 3 smaller bags.

My guess is you'll need a "luxury" van or may have to pay for a luggage truck if you really want a limo. A couple of drivers drive SUVs, they might be large enough for your group and bags.

When the manufacturer "stretches" a Lincoln Towncar to build a limo, they lengthen the passenger compartment. The trunk is not touched by this process. Fortunately, the Lincoln Towncar has a huge trunk to begin with.

I've never hired a stretch limo in Orlando (only sedans and vans), but I've often used stretch limos in the Chicago area — once even with seven people going to O'Hare Airport. When there's too much luggage for the trunk, the driver puts some bags on the front passenger seat and floor. And we've taken our carry-ons into the passenger compartment.

The short answer is that the limo's trunk is likely to be insufficient for six people, but, if you don't take too many large bags, there are other places to accommodate the remaining luggage when the limo's trunk is full.

In comparison, a regular Lincoln Towncar sedan can get really tight with four people and luggage because one of the passengers is sitting in the front passenger seat — so no luggage can go there.

I"ve taken a limo to and from Port Canaveral twice. Both times we managed to fit everything in, the second time was with seven adults/older teens! That time we did need to hold our carryon's on our laps and use the seat next tot the driver, but it all fit without too much of a problem.

You won't have a problem fitting the luggage in. Those trunks hold a lot. Limo's that do mostly airport runs remove the front passenger seat. With that seat removed you can fit an awful lot of luggage there.
