How much is/was your wedding?

Wow, after reading these...I don't feel so bad The first time around "way too young..just turned 20" just my opinion now that I look back..we did the Disney intimate and w/reception back home in OH we still came in under 10k not including rings of coarse, but this time since it's the 2nd for both of us...we're not going crazy. He's getting ready to retire from military and I want to start school to be a nurse practitioner...so,we're getting married on the beach. W/flowers and professional photographer it's still only going to be about 1k for wedding and about 4k for Disney honeymoon... not too bad... and congrats to all of you w/upcoming weddings!!

I too am getting married for a second time in Sept. I have tried to keep costs down but it doesn't seem to be working out very well...lol How are you keeping cost down? I'm doing my own flowers, center peices etc. the photographer is my neices friend, my sil is videoing the wedding, we are having it at a facility. With our immediate families, broth, sisters, neices and nephews it is almost 60 people. With very close aunts and uncles and a few and I do mean a few friends I'm at 85. Without the honeymoon at disney, and the rings I'm at 4000.00. Would love to know what your doing for your second wedding.

well, for starters...the wedding on the beach performed by emeraldbeach weddings...we chose "just us" or something small...it was only $250!! but it will only be the two of us, my ds5 and a handful of guests!! he is the preacher, and she is the pro. photographer...we both just want something short and sweet so we're only having 20 pro. pix... she is also getting the flowers for me...$100, my dress was only $200 and my soon to be mil is altering it for me...get this...this is good... my EX-MIL is baking the cake !!! haha great I know!! shoes, jewelry..that was only $40... just keeping it simple First time it just felt like I spent so much time and so much $ on the wedding where I really thing we should have been planning our MARRIAGE! That is what it is really about Best of luck to you this time around! I know it's sooo much better for me this time! Total 180!! From a man that wouldn't open a can of soup to feed himself to a wonderful man that picks my child up from school and has dinner on the table for ME!

My budget was $20,000 including hotel stays.

We came in just under $25,000 and we used budget EVERYTHING- floral, photo, video, dress, you name it. We splurged on things like the Grand I Yacht, Cinderella's Coach, and Figment (character).

There are ways to have a Disney wedding less expensive, you just can't let yourself get caught up in the "extras". Even the most bare-bones intimate is still AMAZING!

Hey there:
My intimate wedding cost just for Disney services only, not including outside photographer, videographer, dress, rings and dinner, for 15 guests it was almost $9,000.
That included Mickey & Minnie, Wedding Pavilion, vintage car, extra beverages & extra floral.

Our intimate in Disney probably cost around $9000 and that includes dress, hotels, air, MK photo shoot, wishes cruise, Randy Chapman for photography and dinner for 11 at yachtsman steakhouse. We also had a big party at home 2 months later that cost about $6000, mostly catering.
