How much is Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party?

$35.99 seems a lot for a snack. why shouldn't I go to main street bakery then stand on main street for show?

I used to think that but after reading thread about the dessert party I think it sounds like a lot of fun. It isn't just a snack, evidently it's an all you care to eat dessert buffet with many interesting choices.

That said, we go in summer, when school's out, it's terribly hot and at the end of the day, my DH is not too happy about being smooshed up against the mobs that hang out on Mainstreet waiting for the parade &/or Wishes. Going to the dessert party, we will still have to stand along a railing for the actual fireworks, from what I've read, but with about 50 people, meaning no bumping, grinding, foot stepped on, smelling someone else's BO & any other unpleasant things that one may encounter at the end of a day when the parks is at a 8-10 crowd level on a scale of 10.

However, buying a snack at the Main St. bakery and watching it on Main Street is certainly an option that more people do than the dessert party :goodvibes

We did the dessert party this year - it was fun. I wouldn't do it every trip, but it was really nice. We had a nice table, there were multiple buffet dessert stations, drinks (non-alcoholic) and a very nice view of the fireworks.

I can't remember what we paid, but whatever it was it was WELL worth it! We LOVED LOVED LOVED the dessert party! It was so nice to not have to stake out a spot an hour before hand. We could just sit at our table and enjoy tons of delicious desserts!

We had a light dinner (Earl of Sandwich) and checked in about an hour before Wishes. We had a table right in the front and enjoyed all the sweets! Right before Wishes came on we leaned on the railing, no pushing or anything because the party is small enough that everyone can see everything.

Just FYI, I am not good with crowds (which is why I always go at a slow time!!) and I really hate when people stand all up on me so the dessert party is great for that.

We will definitely do it again, maybe not every trip but it was great! Also, not sure if this always happens, but we were let out a "back" way, directly to the busses, so no pushing down a crowded Main St!

Thanks for the replies everyone, still gonna have a think about it. $35 seems like a lot for just dessert lol
