How much is to much???

I am crazy. I know this and it makes it ok. We would go to disney every month if we could, but alas the money fairy has not visited us so we can't. We just got back from a short trip in Jan. and are thinking of going again. DH,myself, DS4 and DD1. How often is to often? Is twice a year crazy? I'm thinking we should just move from OHIO and we all can work at Disney!

That depends on your budget I think. I have been to WDW 3 times in the 13 years I have been married but the last 2 trips have been in the last 2 years. See a pattern emerging? I want to go once a year. I work two jobs and I like to save the money from the second job strictly for WDW when I can. My dream would be to go 1-2 times a year; however, once a year is a possibility but twice a year is a dream. I already have people giving me strange looks and asking me why we are going to WDW again when we have already been there. I read a quote on here about people getting the magic although I can't recall it exactly but they either get it or they don't. You apparently get the magic so you should go as often as you feel you can afford it and feel comfortable doing so. For me that is once a year but for others it may be three times a year or once every three years. It just depends on what you can live with and don't worry about what other people think. Most of the people in my family and DH's family think I am crazy and maybe I am but I don't care. I am not spending all our money on these trips nor am I depriving my family of anything they need to take a trip. I will continue to go to WDW as often as my budget allows and I don't worry about what everyone thinks. I am in NH and just got back to freezing temps and snow so I am thinking I should just move to Florida and work at WDW too!

We go every year and could easily handle twice a year. Now that we are DVC members, we plan to do just that. DH doesn't fly, so we have to drive. We actually save money this way with a family of 4, it's cheaper to drive. What we plan to do is go in May and then in Nov. Nov. is our favorite time to go for the parks, lower crowds and moderate temps. May is great for enjoying the resorts and occasionally the parks. We have AP's so I can easily justify the 2 trips per year having them and DVC!!LOL

I wouldn't want to live there, but I definately don't think twice a year is too much. Go for it! If you can afford it then there's nothing wrong with it!!

Well since I live in Florida, and it's only 2 hours we can take day trips or just go overnight. We JUST bought AP's so, we're going to be going quite a bit!

You can never go too much IMHO!!! We go at least 2-3 times a year,even snuck a 4th one in one year! APs are a great thing!

We are from Canada and with the flight and dollar we can't go as often. We are on the West coast and go to Disneyland more often, as we can drive.

We are going to Disney World in a month. This will be the first time for our kids DD 6 and DS 4, But they have been to Disneyland 3 times. My father in law is coming with us. He is going to Disneyland Mar 27- April 1 and then coming home and going to Disney World with Us April 14- May1. So I don't think you can go to much. My in laws really get the magic of it, so it's nice that they understand why we like to go as much as possible. We went to World for our Honeymoon ten years ago and this is our first time back since. People asked us why Disneyworld for our Honeymoon, when most people go some where exotic. They just don't get the magic!!
