how much is the rer a train?

how much is the train from the center of paris to DLP? I might be going to paris oct 13-oct 18 and am thinking about taking the train for a one day trip to DLP...how much does it cost? I saw the link on the information thread but I cannot read french....so I do not know what it says.

I'm planning to do the exact same thing as you except I can't decide if I'll stay at DLP and take the train to downtown Paris or vice versa. I'll be in other areas of France for a week but only in the Paris area for about 3-4 days. At any rate, here is some information I've found on RER:

Just ask for a ticket to Disney and back. You will be given 2 tickets. One for the train there and one for the return. On both trips you will have to use the ticket to get into the station and to exit the station. Also make sure you are on the correct train, as the line splits. The train may not be labeled, but there will be a sign next to the track with the stops and lights next to the ones where the next train is going. Have fun.

You can buy a mobilis for zones 1-5 (Paris is Zone 1, Disney is Zone 5) for €12.50. It'll give you unlimited travel for the whole day.

A single trip is €6.30 or €3.15 for the kids up to 9.

I'd recommend the mobilis ticket, too, if you just want to have a one-day Disney experience.

@debit34: if you plan to commute between DLRP and Paris for 3-4 days, your choice could also be the 'carte orange'. It's valid from monday to sunday for €32,10. You need a passport photo for the "main" card and then get the weekly coupon. For the decision where to stay I can just say that cheap hotels in the Paris centre are probably not too clean and not too luxury (but maybe 'typical french' after all). Outback budget hotels (usually the big brands like Etap, Premiere Classe etc.) are mostly in good condition.

We asked for a return ticket but were sold a Mobilis instead (only a few cents difference). Unfortunately I didn't realise this until after our trip so didn't take advantage of it and just used it as a return RER ticket.
