Orange county started lower then LA County so they still get the pleasure of having a lower sales tax then us. How sad is it that 8.75% sounds good????

I thought it had gone up too, but I just checked my Disneyland receipt from June, and it is at 8.75% .

Sounds good to me; it's higher here in Tacoma! (then again, we have no state tax)

Nevada does not have any sales tax either. That must be nice. It is interesting that a smaller county in Ca. can have a higher sales tax in comparison to a larger county. In my county the sales tax is anywhere from 9.00 % or higher. It all depends upon the city that you are making your purchase in. The link that I provided is a very good one to find what the tax is in a particular city/county in Ca. I bookmarked it, matter of fact too.
