How much is enough??

Hi all
My GF, her 2 DS 14 and 17 and I are staying offsite on I-drive in sept, we have our 14 day disney tickets, and our seaworld tickets all sorted and paid for, what we was discussing and wondering what other people's views on how much money is enough for food, drinks, snacks etc for 4 for 2 weeks, souvenir and clothes etc shopping not included in this estimate.

We put everything on credit card and spend whatever we want. Always averages out at approx $100/day. Got back last August for 25 nights, cost £1,200.
Thats for 3 adults, includes a little shopping, but not much as none of us like shopping.

I kept a record last time to help with future planning. We went for 21 nights, 2 adults and a child aged 10. We stayed on-site and only ate about 3 meals off Disney property. 90% of our meals were at table service and not counter service, we ate at several of the most expensive Disney restaurants, we bought and ate whatever we wanted, got quite a few souvenirs and enough clothes for my son to last 2 years. My son only ever eats off the adult menu as he hates junk food and has never eaten a childs meal in his life.

On food and shopping we spent a grand total of £1685.16.

Me , the wife and DD and boyfriend, I am budgeting $300 per day for food and buying things.

On the quieter days like water parks, I carry the amount forward to the next day, as its usually a shopping day.

take enough so you dont feel you are penny pinching, my brother and I took $4000 dollars between us last year. Even if you dont spend it all you can use it for your next trip.

A bit steep on the fees though 2.75%. Is it worth it for the miles? £27.50 for ever £1k spent.
I have Virgin cc to earn miles but thats not worth it abroad.

We spent around $200 per day on food and bits and pieces. Two adults, three kids. This included a few souveniers, a couple of rounds of mini golf and mainly counter meals and three or four sit down meals. But if you eat TS meals then you would spend this and maybe more just on food. Were not big eaters and our hotel had a free breakfast.

We then spent about $500 - $600 shopping on bigger souveniers and trips to the Florida Mall and Premium outlets.

We spent fourteen days in Orlando so we spent around $3000.

You can have a great time however much you have. Our first trip we were on a budget on $100 per day for food (free breakfast though) and about $300spending money and we still ate every mealtime and brought loads back.

DP is in control of all finances from what I gather we are taking $4000. Also CC's for emergencies or last minute shopping
All tickets will be purchased before hand.
Thats for 2 adults and 2 children. for 21 nights.
