How much is a cab (approximately) from LAX?

We were going to rent a car but my friend just told me that she would rather just take a cab to and from the airport.........

They say $85 to over $100 depending on traffic. You can try to get a flat rate. Some drivers may do that.

Dont forget to add in parking.... not sure how much it is, but it is something. There used to be a shuttle that ran, but my information on that is decades old. Sorry.

We decided to take the Super Shuttle which for us will be $45 each way (we are a family of three)

hi there, we are going in may and i was looking into transportation...i looked at supershuttle and for our family of 5 it was 150 dollars return...that is with other stops, picking up other people and their luggage....i chose prime time shuttle for only 4 dollars more, and it is a private van so it is just us, straight to our motel and then same on return....i would hate all the stops, i will want to just get there, so thought i would book private....

I just checked Prime Time's website for our trip, and this is what the prices are:

Service Fare
Shared Van service for 3 passengers: $45.00
GoSedan® The exclusive business class service for up to 3 guests: $82.22
Private Van service for up to 7 guests: $77.00
Town Car service for up to 3 guests: $88.55
Private Van service for up to 9 guests: $91.00

A private van for us would be $66 more roundtrip. For more people, its a great deal, because it holds up to 7 people, but for just the three of us, it's not as good of a deal.

Thanks for the tip though, because I might book the shared van service through them, instead of Super Shuttle.

hi there, u are right, without at least 4-5 people, the difference in cost is huge...for us, it is only a few dollars and the convience is hands down....have an awesome trip
