How much hassle is a large stroller?

If you're staying on the monorail, I'd definitely take a big stroller. We went this past January with our two-year-old and stayed at a monorail resort. It was so nice not to have to break down the stroller (a baby jogger city select) if we were using the monorail to head back to the room. That's actually a big reason we ended up switching to that hotel (GF) from the WL... so that we wouldn't have to fold up the stroller. Then we just sucked it up for HS and AK and folded. We'll be going next year with a three-year-old and one-year-old and will convert the stroller to a double stroller. Long story short, my vote is for the bigger stroller for the many reasons stated above. We didn't have trouble maneuvering around shops.

IF you aren't riding the buses - it's just going to be a pain in stores. And you can't take them into most of the restaurants, anyway - so unless you plan to spend alot of time with the stroller in a store - I wouldn't be concerned based on your size description. It's a 2 yo.... you are gonna have stuff and you will want them to nap in it.....

What do you do with your stroller when you go to a restaurant to eat? Just park outside like you do on rides?

It depends on how big big is. Disney does have a size limit on strollers. If it is larger than 36 x 52 it will not be allowed.

Btw, if you do hit someone with it, an apology is in order. Telling them to "Get over it" is not the way to go.

I didn't know there was a size limit. We have twins and a double stroller. Hope it fits!

While it is likely you can just wheel your stroller onto the monorail, at times they do ask that you fold them down. Typically only when it is very very busy, but it does happen. I wouldn't pick a resort because you are depending on rolling your stroller on the monorail. You may have to fold it.

I was going to say the same thing. We stayed at BLT once and just about every time we got on the monorail at the CR, the CMs instructed all the guests with strollers to remove the children and fold it up because the monorail was crowded.
