How much for Tickets for Aerosmith?

My DD 14 and I both Love Aerosmith. I don't know who would be more excited, her or me. Has anyone ever bought tickets for a sold out concert? I would love to take DD to see them in Dallas, TX. The Concert is officially sold out but older DD who lives in Dallas found tickets (front row) for $300 a pair. Ouch! Is this what I should expect them to cost? We live in a little bitty town and I am not "up" on these things.

Try ebay. My sister got my DH and I tickets to the Aerosmith show in Jacksonville the week of the event -- and that was a sold out show too. We ended up with amazing seats, on the side third row from the side stage. We were able to reach out and touch them! It was awesome. We ended up paying face value for the tickets since they were on the side and no one wanted them I guess. Also, sometimes right before a concert more tickets are dropped on ticketmaster.

ETA: Floor seats (and the whole lower section of most arenas) are currently about $125 EACH plus any surcharge from places like Ticketmaster.

Are you sure its $300 for the pair? That is just about face value for rows 1-10. If they are $300 a pair, I would grab them in second...
