How Much $ For Food?

Allears is the best place to look. Average qs entree is approx 8-10.00 for adults .... Kids meal is about 5-6.00 our fam of 4 (2 teens) usually gets 3 adult meals,one kids meal (me,if there are good choices) one large drink (4 straws,its a bathtub lol) and we average about 40 for lunch,50-60 for dinner qs per day,all total. If i budget approx 100.00 per day,we're fine. We also tend to get snacks as we go,mostly share here and there,but we're never hungry. Our trip last fall, we ate Boma once,the rest qs and snacks, averaged out to around 100.00 a day give or take. We eat cereal and milk and coffee in our room every a.m. Since none of us care about breakfast.

This is about what we budget as well. Two adults, 3 kids, $100 per day. We don't do snacks or soda and often share two adult meals and one kid meal between the five of us so we can keep our calories down. Last time we only averaged about $60 a day and I went home with money in my pocket; it was often too hot to eat so we'd skip lunch and just do a late breakfast and dinner.

It is my personal opinion that the dining plan is very worth it. We were there 8 days back in 2013 and we used every credit by the 7th day. Granted we did Hoop De Do and Royal Table so we had to pay for two dinners which we chose Fultons and then the last day we did all QS at MK. We ended up spending around $250 extra on food.
We are now planning a summer 2015 trip and will definitely be using the deluxe dining plan again.

We usually budget around 250 a day for a family of 4. We are basically 3 adults and a teen. We could have a day when we eat at a signature and spend 450 in a day but could have other days of under 200.
