How much for cab???

We will not have a rental car for our upcoming trip next week and are thinking about taking a cab from CS to the closest grocery store for drinks/snacks. About how much do you guys think a cab would cost us?? By the way, I know about the towncar service making one stop, but we are taking ME this time!!

A guess - when we used to get a cab to go to Saturday night Mass at Mary Queen of the Universe shrine from DTD it cost approximately $8-$10 each way. We asked the driver to pick us up in an hour and had no problems. I would think you could do the same....there are several stores close by (not including Goodings, which is close, but pricey, IMHO).

You can do wegoshop.com and have your groceries delivered to your room. Possibly cheaper or same price and you didn't have to go. Good luck!

FWIW, a cab will cost more than any savings you might get from buying drinks and snacks from a grocery. My guestimate is at least $15 plus tip each way.

My advice (costly only in time) would be to visit one of the DVC resorts and buy your drinks/snacks there if the CS gift shop doesn't carry what you need. You could visit the Boardwalk General store, the new shop at the BC or Goodings to go at OKW.

FWIW, I think the wegoshop idea is your best choice.
