Are the prices on dvcnews correct?? I just spoke to my guide and here's what he said:

BLT 100pts or more = $96; <100pts = $104
AKL $94; $100

We're deciding btw add on at AKL and BLT, so want to make sure I have the right price!

The prices on DVC news are the same ones that I got from my guide when I changed my incentives April 1st. I bought 130 points at BLT and paid $96.00 per point. I was originally going with a 115 contract, but that would have been $98.00 per point.

Someone on another thread they added on 50 points today at AKV and paid $102.00 per point.

This is good news. I thought that we weren't able to add on 50 pts. We would like to add on 50 at BLT. I thought DVC did away with add ons under 100 pts?

They did...for about a month!! They changed it back to 25 point minimum in mid February!

When the new incentives came out April 1st, they added an $8.00 per point discount for contracts 50 - 99 points so right now its $104.00 per point at that level.

If you go to 100, its only $98.00--a great deal if you can swing it. I will be adding on another 50 points to BLT in August when I complete the sale of my VWL contract (I can't close until after my vacation).

Just fyi, saw a BLT resale that passed for $93 ( sorry I don't recall exactly how many points - think it was over 100 ) info was listed by jaki & ****.
The incentives with direct through Disney purchase probably still work out to be better deal but depending upon what the closing costs/fees on resale are it may have been close.

I saw that too...it was 160. Figure that the closing costs were probably around $450 so about $3.00 more per point--bringing it to around $96.00. Very close to buying direct--probably why it passed ROFR.
