How much for a taxi from PC to the Florida Mall?

Hi everyone,

When we are at WDW we want to do some serious shopping. Malls aren't soo common here in Europe. Last visit we went to the Florida Mall, that was great.
Can someone tell me how much it is to take a taxi to the Florida Mall, when you are at PopCentury?
Last time my brother paid, so I forgot about that

Is the Florida Mall close to the Orlando airport?
That's about $50, one way I think.

From CSR to the airport was around $50. So your one way cab ride would be around that. It depends if you get stuck in traffic or not.

What stores are you looking for? There may be ones closer than the Florida Mall.

Stores like Sears and Target...
And I would love to take a look at Fossil-watches and Clarks-shoes. There is a large pricedifference compared to Europe!

You may find it cheaper and easier to rent a car for a day to do some shopping. That way you could go to the mall and the outlets without having to wait on a cab. We find it much more convenitent to drive ourselves.

The mercado mall is closer on international drive,not as much as the florida mall but it cost about 35 to get there by taxi.I rent cars for now on.

Hi!

Clarks shoes has a store in the outlet mall near Disney - good prices. I can't remember the name of the road but it is right near DTD. They have a great selection and the cab fare would be reasonable.

Maybe someone can help out with the directions?

Can someone tell me the name of the shoppingcentre near DTD?
Maybe it's very strange for you to hear but I don't drive...
Here in Amsterdam, that isn't uncommon at all, because there is no need to and no parkingspace for a car as well
But my husband drives, so maybe he wants to rent that car and drive it to the malls. Poor guy, he doesn't like shopping at all

I remembered the name of the outlet mall - it is Orlando Premium Outlets and their website is - www. premiumoutlets.com. You will find store listings and directions to get there.

Don't worry about not driving - I have a good friend who doesn't drive and it amazes me how she still gets from place to place. Our town is spread out but she manages!

You will enjoy this mall - it has some great stores!
