How much does the Toy Story Tea Party Cost?

I am confused about times of tea party as when i phoned about my confirmation email earlier today, i was told that the tea party was definately at 3.30pm.
Guess i will find out when i arrive at hotel and get the vouchers for it!!

Hi

We went to the Toy Story tea party on 17th October and I booked it direct with Disney before we went. DD2 was 2 and we didn't have to pay for her. There was no problem when we handed in our tickets at the event, just said 2 adults, one child and one under 3.

Just to confirm, there are no savoury items now, just cakes, cookies, pastries, chocolate mousse, yogurt, sweets, lollies etc. There are plenty of hot and cold drinks which are also included.

We all have a sweet tooth so were quite happy to not have an evening meal that day, we certainly had no room for anything else afterwards LOL.

If there is anything else you want to know, just let me know.

Hi, thanks very much for the info :thumbsup2

Was it a good experience and worth booking?
Was the character interaction good?
Were all the Toy Story Characters there?

Thanks :goodvibes

i would also like to know the quality of the interaction of characters we are going in january so im guessing it will be quieter so hope fully more interaction with each table x x

We enjoyed it and thought it was good value for money. The characters were Jesse, Woody and Buzz. It wasn't really that busy when we went and the characters did spend quite a lot of time at the tables, visiting more than once. My girls are still quite young (4 and 2) so were quite happy to just have a photo taken and a hug so the characters didn't stay at our table too long which was fine but spent more time at other times.

oh right we are the other end a bit old lol and will only want a few pics lol x x x

Can we just turn up and pay at the door?
(i understand that the people who have booked obviously have priority)

Its just that we are not 100% sure that we want to do this tea party and want to see how much we get done in the park over the few days at DLP.
If we have spare time then we will probably do the Tea Party.

Pyebiddy, this is what happened to me recently. I have booked both the tea party at pizza planet and the birthday tea party at lucky nugget and was told (by the reservations dept where you book your accomodation etc not the dining reservations) that both bookings were for the 3.30pm as 5.00pm was not available. So that was fine, we were happy with that. When I called the dining reservations dept to make our lunch and dinner reservations for our stay, I was told that there isn't a 3.30pm anymore only 5.00pm. So I called back the other reservations dept and said that I had booked the tea parties and you had said we were booked at 3.30pm and he said "yes, thats right". I then said I've just been told by the dining dept that there is no longer a 3.30pm sitting and he said oh, hold on. So he came back and said, yes you are right there is only one sitting now at 5.00pm. He said before the 3.30pm sitting was the first sitting and the 5.00pm was second sitting, there is now only a first sitting and he didn't realise that the first sitting now was 5.00pm.

So.... I don't think that all of the staff in the reservations department know that there is only the one sitting, because this man didn't and that was last week. Anyway, the time didn't bother us, we were happy with either time, just as long as we had our booking :cool1: . So like you I will just wait and see what time is on our vouchers when we arrive as it seems to change depending on which staff member you speak to. :goodvibes

Yes, I am sure you can, so long as you are prepared that they may be fully booked.

I agree with Elaine - you can just turn up and pay, but it may be fully booked.
You could though, book a day or so before at City Hall, towards the end of your trip?

yes me too... i want to see how ben is going to react to charecters first... if he is ok, then i may book when i am there... see how it goes, i would love to though. i think its good price really considering a snack and drink cost 6euro ish anyway... be fun!

Ive booked for Boxing Day and was only given the time of 5pm....cant wait!
