This is a two part question.

First, how much does it cost per day to rent an ECV at the parks?

Second, approximately how much does it cost to rent an ECV for an entire week from an offsite company?

Thanks so much.:)

If you check out the disABILITIES FAQs thread, you will find information (including prices) for renting in the parks and also phone numbers and names for companies that DIS posters recommend (including Scooterama). The prices are on the websites.

Thanks SueM. I've been on the boards for a few years now and for some reason I often forget to check the FAQ threads. Of course, sometimes I try to put the milk back away in the cupboard and the cereal away in the fridge, so that'll give you a glimpse of how my memory works.:lmao:

Anyway, I'll go check that out, and I'm glad that there's info there with prices. Thanks so much!:thumbsup2

At WDW parks it is $40.00 per day, with $5.00 being returned to you when you return the scooter/key. I am not sure of the cost of outside rentals. :confused3 WDW scooters are very nice (all new this year) and are 4 wheeled (not 3 like many outside rentals are). The only problem is that the WDW EVC's are "first come, first served" and when they are gone... they are gone!

I used Randy's Mobility for my 8 day stay. It cost me $180 for the week. They delivered it to me right where I was dropped off at the hotel. At the end of my stay, I just brought it up to the front, where they keep people's luggage, and they were going to pick it up there.
I had a positive experience, though if I were to rent one in the future, I would probably bring a small pillow, or lumbar cushion as my butt really hurt at the end of each day.

our group had two at one time for 10 days recently from randy's at 20 a day . one other of our group rented daily from the parks . the park one was very hard to manuever in the show queues and lines and even the elevators (example to go to and from soarin ) while the randys ones were easy and also never lost charge in 12,14 hour days while the park one did some.
