My friend in going for one day only to MK. What will it cost her to park at MK?

Thanks.

$8 per day for cars. Does anyone have a AAA Diamond Lot Parking Certificate, which does not give you free parking, but does give you close-up parking at the major parks?

She has two small kids and I know shw would appreciate it.

Thanks.

Actually, she would be better off parking in the regular lot and taking the tram especially at MK.

The AAA parking is close but there is no tram service, so it is a pretty long walk no matter which park you are in.

momoftwins, It looks like you have a boy/girl set of twins. Three months ago we were blessed with the same. We also have a 7yo son & 2 yo daughter.

Any words of wisdom for the boy/girl set of twins???

Congrats!!!!!! Hug 'em, kiss 'em, love 'em! I remember when they were born, their pediatrician told me whenever you do for one do for the other. If one is hungry, feed the other because by the time you fall back to sleep the other one will be ready to eat. I fed them, diapered them, put them down for naps at the same time. I use to feel kind of bad because I felt like I never had any alone time with one or the other. However, my husband and I would trade off alone time between the two. They just turned 8 and we still do. We have special days, we take turns reading, we take turns with quiet time, etc.

I am very lucky that my DS and DD get along well. They are not competitive and they both are learning to recognize their own strengths. Not so much now, but when I would have to punish one the other would go with them to timeout for support - lol. It kind of defeated the purpose of the timeout. Before they got out of diapers, if I did not move quick enough they would change each others diaper!

Don't be afraid to ask for help. It was hard with only two, I cannot imagine four. God bless and enjoy! (Plus think of it this way, now you have an excuse for a few more years to ride on Dumbo!)

Thanks, and it's nice to see that you found a way to make each of yours feel special! We also have been doing the "whenever you do for one do for the other thing." One thing that we are making a special effort to do is NOT to compare them(or their abilities). They are individuals and will not smile, laugh, roll over or sit up at the same time. It's hard work but I am also looking forward to all of the fun that is ahead of us. :D

In 8-10 more years I need to talk to you to find out how the driving & dating is going. Have a great weekend!
