How much does it cost to drink around the world?

Hi

it really depends on when you go, if you go during Food & Wine Festival
the cost will depend on the size of the drink your ordering.

my experience,
i drink the 3oz beers which i believe are around $3 and i find i can drink a 3$ beer per country at the world showcase as during Food & Wine the kiosks are closer together in between the countrys.

the food items again can vary, depends aswell if you have dining plan? we used our snack credits at world showcase during Food & Wine last year and this helped keep the cost down too.

all in all we spend for 2 of us on a 2 week vacation around $300 at epcot, which i think is pretty reasonable.
i go during Food & Wine Festival and have a blast every year.
we are planning on upping our allowance for Epcot this year to $400 dollars so we can each have a gift card with $200 each as this has now become one of our main reasons for coming to Disney in the fall.

hope the above helps :goodvibes

I have been considering trying to "drink around the World" on our upcoming trip in September...but not sure I can make it.

I'm not a beer drinker, so usually go for things like a margarita (Mexico), Prosecco (Italy), Grey Goose Slushie (France) and then either wine or something similar in the other countries. I'd say the drinks average between $7-10 per country for me. It really depends on what you're drinking.

Like others have said, it really depends how you're doing it and what you're drinking.
I usually get mixed drinks, but would have to be carried out if I was getting one at every country. My guy gets a beer in each country, but I usually will just get a drink like every 3rd country. If I have a friend with me and we really want to drink all the way around the world, we'll get one every country and share it. Beers seem to run anywhere from $6-9 and mixed drinks $7-13 or so.

Beer is like $5-$7 and liquor based drinks are $7-10 so anywhere from $55 to $110 for all the countries. Double that for F&WF. Double that again if you want a small plate from each country as well. (About $200 or $400 at FWF).

We always skip every other pavilion and walk around the world twice, that way you don't get too inebriated.

Drinks: $5 to $15
Spilling on your favourite shirt: $15 to $30

Getting thrown in Disney jail for being too drunk and showing the future generation the dangers of public intoxication: PRICELESS

It depends on what you get and if you're sharing, but for this sake let's say:
-You get a drink in EVERY country
-You are NOT sharing (ie or sharing the cost)
It'd be over $110.00

Drinks are approx $10 a piece, and there are 11 countries (not including the outpost) that's a LOT of booze, and a lot of money, and depending where you go in some countries (ie, if you go IN to Rose & Crown in the UK, or into the pavilion in Mexico, you will end up tipping the bartender as well and that will cost you more money)

I've done it, but I've shared drinks with friends, and taken my sweet sweet time going through the countries to either: explore, do photoshoots, try on ridiculous hats, colour a duffy, etc, you definitely want to take your time, and you probably want to start in Canada.

My favourite drinks are:
Uk: Welsh Dragon, found inside the Rose & Crown
France: Grand Marnier Orange slush, found at the drink cart
Italy: Bellini (they're not the blended ones) or sangria
US: I suggest trying the red stag lemonade
Germany: Grapefruit beer
China: Peach Snap drink at the tea stand
Mexico: Cucumber margarita (not blended) or the avacado margarita (blended)

Done it. A couple times. It's a little over a $100 if you're doing it by yourself. Drinks usually run between $7 and 10 a piece. If you're a wine drinker, you can save a little by going into one of the country wine shops at France, Italy or Germany and getting the "around the world" wine tasting.

Factor in the cost of bottled water (one bottle per 2 drinks will keep you from dehydrating yourself into a migraine) and a snack or two. I like to start at the Rose & Crown and get a pub snack (fish & chips or a scotch egg are winners) to make sure there's something in your belly to soak up the booze.

If you're going during Food & Wine festival and counting the booths ... well, God help you. It'll be a fortune.

Bringing an old thread back to life because I’m new lol, $3 a beer!!! I recently just got back, and it was like $7 depending what country, so it’s gone up about 100% in 4 years, that’s crazy. Wish I went in 14’ !
