How much does FP+ effect EMH?

This will be our first trip with FP+ and I've been doing the research. What I'd like to know is how much they effect EMH? Does it effect it at all or is it just a crowd research issue?

We traditionally go to EMH at MK and can complete 90% of Fantasyland in that one hour. If that is still true it effects how I am choosing my FP+...

Also, with tiering at HS, will the EMH allow me to try to get through ToT and RnR so I can use my FP+ on TSM (if available)

Finally, while pouring through the pros and cons and hoorays and boos my common thought is this........ my family can still enjoy all the rides they wish, we just need plans for conversation fun while waiting in line. Sometimes it seems that without a FP+ there is no point in going because you will NEVER get on a ride ;) kwim?

Thank you!

Rope Drop and EMH are the antidote to the limitations built in to FP+, especially at the parks with tiering. As more and more people learn this, more and more people will take advantage of them. For example, EMH and RD were always the best strategies for riding TSMM, RnR and ToT with minimal waits, and FP- was the mechanism by which one could get second (or third) rides on each with minimal waiting. Now, if you want to recapture that same experience, EMH and RD have become even more important. So yes, by all means, take advantage of them. But also expect bigger crowds to start the day.
