The Mrs. usually buys a balloon when we get to Disney to give some life to our room, then she tosses it on our last day before we fly home. Well last year she had her chance to bring one home inflated. We went on a cruise that left out of NYC and stopped in Florida for the day. We went to the park and picked up a balloon when we left the Magic Kingdom. This balloon went from:
Magic Kingdom to the Monorail
Monorail to the Cruise Shuttle Bus
Shuttle bus back onto the ship
Florida to Nassau Bahamas
Nassau to Great Stirrup Cay
Great Stirrup Cay to NYC
Then after we get to NYC it still survived:
Going from our ship to a taxi
Taxi to Grand Central Station
Grand Central Station onto the train
Train to Philadelphia
Philadelphia into my car
Then back to the house where it sat for another 6 weeks while it slowly faded away. The little fella lasted for over a month before it even started to show any wear. And this was all in November, so the temperature on our trip ranged from 40-90 degrees. So they may be pricey, but they are built to last
