How much do you usually pay for Poly and

We usually pay around $380 a night. That is during regular season and includes taxes. It is also a AAA rate. If we can't get the AAA rate then it is a bit higher. I think it is worth any cost to stay at the Poly over the WL. There is no comparison.

only you can determine if it is worth the extra money. Poly is more of a deluxe than WL with a great location. The ease of access to Epcot, not just MK from Poly is great too!

Not sure what rooms you were choosing, but it shouldn't be $200/night more at the Poly for a comparable room. If you chose standard view at WL vs garden view at the Poly (the two cheapest), the difference is $120/night or $600 for 5 nights in Regular season--only $114 in Value and $160 Holiday. I have to be honest, I'd go for the Poly-- bigger rooms, daybed, monorail... I already switched from the WL to the Poly!

That is what we paid at the Poly two weeks ago. I just booked the Poly for next June using a AAA and it went up $380 a night.

Well we are getting the WL for the fall special (courtyard view) for $245 per night. Polynesian was where I really wanted to stay (though I've never seen it IRL) I just LOVE Hawaii and Hawaiian theming so I think I'd be in love with it. It's sold out through Disney, but still available at, I guess, full rack rate with bookit.com for $460 per night (cheapest room which is lagoon view). We just got a big bonus from dh's work, so I "could" afford it, but wondering if it's really worth $1000 extra!!!!

Yes, cost will be a bit lower during value season. I got a rate of $311.81 incl. tax per night for Aug. next year with AAA rate.
