How much do you tip the person who cleans your room at WDW.

And

Do you wait till your last day or do you leave a tip every day.

We leave $2 a day and leave it out every day as the people cleaning the rooms may change each day.

$1 to $2 per day (maybe more if we are really messy) per day. We always leave it each day since the mousekeepers can change during your stay.

We leave $1 per person (and we're a very messy family of 5) so we leave $5/day. If there is a particularly bad mess (ie - one of the kids wets (or worse!) the bed) we double it.

Yesterday I tried to print out the mousekeeping envelopes with no luck. The envelopes just came out the with a little tiny picture in the right hand corner. I set the computer up to print envelopes, tried saving and printing and printing from the site, with no luck. It says something about choosing word - I think this is what I'm missing - any ideas? Thanks, Tonia

Mousekeeping envelopes???????

Sounds pretty cool

Where did you find those

We left $1/pp/day. The mousekeeper left towel designs everyday, and arranged our halloween decorations. Wish I would have had the envelopes, but we did leave little thank you notes, and special requests on a few days. It was fun to come back to the room and find the new designs. Really Cute:)

Hey Eeyore1954

Did you know that all of the greatest minds, of all time, were born in 1954 ;) ;) ;) ;)

I couldnt make the mousekeeping envelopes website work either so I enlisted my daughter (age 8) and we went to the craft store and purchased a bunch of disney-related stickers and some 'thank you' and 'youre the best' stickers and just pasted them on regular envelopes. We left the envelope on the bed as we were leaving each day. We also enjoyed coming back to the towel animals and 'toy arrangements', plus a few times, we got notes back thanking us.

I can't get the mousekeeping envelopes to print. It just prints character symbols or nothing. Never had a problem before.

Oh $1 per person, $2 per day!

TigerLilly's Mom MICKEEP - here's the link, and if you get them to work, could you tell me how?! LOL

if you have a program on your computer called word97 or word 98 or word and a #, just pick your design and then click on the microsoft word word file, under the picture

wdwstar - thanks, I finally got them to work! I wasn't clicking on the words at the bottom - duh! By the way, I got them to work on the long and short envelopes, I clicked on print setup and chose the right envelope, they had about 6 different sizes. Also, I had to click on landscape printing to get the picture horizontal and not vertical. Tonia

There are 4 of us, so we tip $4.00 a day. We leave the tip every day because the housekeeper may be different at the end of the week.

Last time we were there, we tipped $5 per day, and yes, we did tip everyday, that way, if our Mousekeeper had a day off during our stay, no one got slighted.

There were 2 adults and 1 child in our room, and 2 adults next door. I don't know whether my parents tipped, but the reservations were in my name, so we left the $5 in our room just in case.

Usually, we tip $1 per person per day.
