How much do YOU think concierge service is worth?

How much do YOU think concierge service is worth? Let's say I get to the Contemporary in October and they have a concierge room open. How much would you be willing to pay per day to upgrade? Tower Club or Full Concierge. What are the chances I will be able to upgrade at check in?

I would be interested in the same question for those of you who stay concierge at AKL, Y & C, WL, etc.

I didn't answer the poll because it all depends. If you're being offered concierge at check-in and you have already made all your ps arrangements and don't plan on spending much time at the resort, then it wouldn't be worth it. Especially if you're giving up a better view just for the concierge floor. If you look at only the food aspect and figure that you can at least eat a good sized breakfast there each day and possibly some snack items, then I would probably figure $20 per person per day.

If you are talking about reserving a concierge room ahead of time, well that's a personal choice. Some would find it worth every penny to have someone else making all their ps arrangements and saving them time on the phone. Or by-passing the standard registration line to be met and escorted to the concierge lounge for a private check in. They can also act as an event planner and help coordinate private dining experiences. It all depends on what you're going to use in that level of service.

I have to agree with Tammi. It makes a difference if you book concierge and use their planning office. Concierge service is so much more than the food offerings.

We are staying concierge on our first trip to Disney and their planning service has been extremely helpful.

Less than 1 week prior to our arrival, some plans changed. I was able to email the concierge planning office late one night and by 8:15 AM the next morning ALL 4 changes to our PS were made.

We got the places and times we wanted.

They have made several wonderful suggestions on things we could do to make our trip more magical and more pleasant, for our entire family.

I am not really paying extra just to get some snack food items or a free drink. We will of course avail ourselves of the food offerings when it fits our schedule. But we are not modifying our touring plans just to take advantage of the food.

My DW has commented several times the last few weeks that she does not know how easy her planning has been with the assistance of the planning staff.
